Sciacca thermal baths are very ancient. They are created by an underground secondary volcanism. This phenomenon creates, on the surface, the famous thermal baths of Sciacca known everywhere for their therapeutic properties. Inside the caves the air is full of vapor and it reaches 40 degrees. good to treat rheumatic pain. The sulphureous water gushes out in the valley of the baths and it is conveyed inside the spa into some pools where the mud, for the mud therapy, is stored. In the same place there’s another source the “Santa” water that is considered a panacea against diuresis. The Molinelli spa has opened from some years; it has many large pools full of water coming from the thermal source.
